Wanted to get the color lighter, but overworked? Accidentally lit dark brown boiling water and steel red? Need another shade? From time to time there are situations in which it is necessary to find the answer to the question -

How to wash henna from hair?

Natural dye consists entirely of herbs, so in order to wash the color from the hair will approach the same - natural products. Chemical washes and other procedures destroying the hair structure will not be needed.

Hair mask that washes away henna

You will need the usual olive oil. Take 20-50 ml of oil (depending on the length of the hair), heat up a little so that the temperature is comfortable to apply. It is not necessary to make it very hot! Liberally apply olive oil over the entire length of your hair, put on a shower cap and wrap your head with a towel. Keep the mask off for 30 minutes. After - rinse with warm water and shampoo.

Henna can completely wash off after the first mask: it all depends on the structure of your hair and on how long you use natural dyes. For example, if you first tried henna and made an olive mask in the first week after dyeing, then only one wash will be enough.

Ways to eliminate the negative effect of henna staining

The opinions of people about the possibility of removing traces of henna painting were divided into two polar camps: some (among them very many professional hairdressers) are sure that it is impossible to completely get rid of henna marks in a short time, others believe that by regularly using folk remedies, you can get good result.

All representatives of opposing opinions agree on one thing - the earlier you start to act, the better. The best time to start a “war” is the first three days after dyeing.

No need to rush to the extreme and paint the hair with chemical agents. The result can be the most unpredictable: red, green, yellow, orange colors of the strongest brightness.

Professional henna removers

Of course, it is not bad to use professional paint removers. There are such substances that can be used both in the hairdresser and at home. The impact of these drugs can be superficial (does not affect the structure of the hair) and deep.

Hairdressing experts advise you to start combating traces of henna from superficial remedies and, if you do not receive the desired result, go to a deep “clean” hair and scalp.

It is better, of course, to use preparations of well-known proven companies, such as Estel, Colorianne Brelil, Salerm, Paul Mitche.

In any case, the impact of the funds will depend on various factors:

  • individual features of hair, their structure:
  • quality of henna used
  • staining time.

Many women who experienced the negative impact of henna solved the problem with the help of folk remedies.

Oil masks - assistants in eliminating the effects of henna staining

Variability of female nature dictates a change of image, the use of new shades in creating your image. What to do if the result of coloring by natural dye - henna, did not cause you pleasant feelings? How to wash henna quickly from hair?

There are several fairly effective ways to deal with redhead ingrained after henna staining. The greatest effect can be obtained by applying a mask with any natural oil (olive, mineral, vegetable, burdock, castor oil).

Before you put on the head "oil dress", the hair must be prepared. To do this, moisten all strands with seventy percent alcohol, especially carefully treating the roots. An alcohol attack for five minutes will help to open the hair scales and increase the likelihood of henna flushing. Now you can apply the selected oil on your hair, put on a bathing cap and hold for about half an hour.

To enhance the effect of the oil mask, it is necessary to heat the head: with the help of hot air from a hairdryer, towel or warm scarf worn over the cap.

Until the end to remove the oil composition from the head is not so easy. Shampoo for oily hair and acidified water (using vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid) will come to your aid.

Kefir Yeast Mask

A pack of raw yeast and the contents of a bottle of kefir of any percentage of fat content is very good to mix and leave to swell. If you have only dry yeast, then they will do, only in a smaller volume - about 8 g. When the swelling reaches its “apogee, cover the whole head with this pasty mixture. 2 hours will have to suffer before removing the kefir-yeast garment from the head. If the expected result did not work out the first time, repeat the mask daily.

Onion mask

Very easy to prepare, because contains only onion juice, which is obtained from several heads. You can ease the task by getting an onion gruel with a blender and applying it instead of juice on the head. This mask may be a little saddening the fact that the onion spirit is very difficult to eliminate. Only strong fragrance shampoo will help eliminate the smell of onions from the hair.

What if you wash the henna from the hair at a time does not work? Do not despair and do selected masks for several days in a row until you get the expected result.

Red pepper tincture

Pods of red pepper, infused with vodka or alcohol, have always been considered an excellent way to activate the hair follicles. And in the problem of eliminating traces of henna, this tincture can also give a good effect.

Only using this tool, you need to be very careful to put it on your head, trying to avoid contact with the skin, so as not to cause burns. More than twenty minutes to keep the tincture of red pepper on the head is undesirable. Acetic hair bath

Fill a deep basin or clean bucket with vinegar (in one liter of heated water evenly distribute 3-4 tablespoons of vinegar). Place the hair in this container and hold it for about 10-15 minutes. If it is difficult to keep your head in one position for so long, then just try dipping your hair strands into liquid more often. Be careful not to get the vinegar solution in your eyes. In case of accidental contact with the eye mucosa, mouth, immediately rinse these areas under running water.

After the procedure with rinsing hair in vinegar, rinse them with warm water, sate using conditioner or balsam, and dry naturally (in the air with a towel).

The main advice in carrying out henna washing procedures is not to delay taking measures if you do not like henna staining. The longer period separates you from the day of painting, the more difficult it will be to “eradicate” the ingrained coloring pigments.

Blonding wash allows you to lighten hair colored with henna for 4 - 6 tones. Repeated use of the product (with 2-week breaks) will remove the dye completely.

To prepare the product, mix bleaching powder, shampoo, water and 3, 6 or 9% oxidizer (the concentration of the solution should be chosen correctly: the darker the shade of the hair, the higher the percentage).
